CLIENT: PARSONS THE NEW SCHOOL FOR DESIGN
PROJECT: SENIOR THESIS – EVERYDAY OBJECTS / HUMAN CONDITIONS
Graphic designers are visual storytellers. What stories are there to be told? Look around. Every mundane, everyday object has a story in itself. Rather, each object has a certain kind of reflected beauty and poetical nuance that is metaphorical, parallel to human acts and conditions. A handful of everyday objects were selected: paperclip, sponge, scissors, tape, zipper, rubber band, straw, post-it note and key which were inspired to be translated into different categories of narrative: prose/poem, a short narrative/blurb and a word/notion, interplayed with different voices/tones. These narratives were then designed into a series of 9 saddle-stitched books.
More cohesive set of new pictures coming soon!
